Celebrating a hugely successful ‘Sunday at the Baths’ this summer, our final afternoon of music by the pool is at Carlton Baths on Rathdowne St, Sunday 25 February.

From 2pm- 7pm five of Melbourne’s most up-and-coming bands are performing for the afternoon, bringing an aquatic twist to the Melbourne live music scene at our historic Carlton Baths.

The line-up is as follows:

2.00pm- With her new EP “The Woman Who Counted The Stars”, Phia’s remarkable live shows has taken her all over the globe. Appearing on Spicks & Specks and recording for the Rolling Stone Magazine in Germany, Phia’s music is described as luscious layers of harmonies, vocal percussion and vivid pop sensibilities. Simply put, Phia’s music is “bright, and catchy as hell”.

3.00pm- Since hitting Melbournians hard with her vibrant songs in 2016, Niine has earned herself plenty of music residencies, ensuring her entire audience is awed by her powerful voice and lush musicality.

4.00pm- With her debut EP releasing later in 2018, Hannah Blackburn is sure to capsulate her audience with honest and intimate lyrics. Her beautiful voice radiating charm, warmth and wit is exactly what you want to be listening to on a Sunday Afternoon.

5.00pm- Get ready to groove to some fun psych jams when Zoe Fox and the Rocket Clocks hit the stage. After a stellar year of gigs in 2017, these festival favourites released their second single “Fists”, which is now receiving national radio play. For those wanting some fun Sunday afternoon tunes, this pysch- pop band is nothing short of charming.

6.00pm- The Scrims will cap the afternoon off with high energy folk-bluegrass music that gets anyone up and jiggin’ around. Featuring a Banjo, two guitars, violin, double bass and stomp-box, their quirky yet catchy songs are sure to be a highlight for all.

Along with enjoying great local music by the pool, we will be holding fundraising activites to raise funds for the YMCA Open Doors program. Find out more about YMCA Open Doors here.

This event is free for all members and only casual entry cost to the pool for non members!
