Women In Sport

Women in Sport is a Strength and Conditioning Program targeted at engaging women to participate in sport. The program was aimed at women of all different backgrounds and experiences as well as anyone else who felt they could benefit. We wanted to create an environment that encouraged women to participate in strength training to assist with sports performance.
Kim Rennie, a Sports Science qualified trainer and AFLW/Pro Basketball player developed the program to increase agility, power and strength. All of the participants saw great results from the program with everyone’s recorded measurements showing an increase in strength and power.
The main benefit of this initiative was the experience our participants had. 100% of those who attended rated it 10/10 for enjoyment and also performance improvement. Participants left the program feeling more confident to play sport and said they will participate in the program again.
