Group fitness classes are a fun, motivating and social way to get fit and healthy – a great workout whatever your fitness level.
Carlton Baths has a wide variety of classes on offer. Not only do we have a great range of Les Mills classes including BodyPump, BodyAttack, CXWorx and BodyBalance, we also offer some unique training styles including Cycle, Boxing, and Zumba. In addition to this our range of mind-body classes is extensive including Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga.

A low-joint impact class in shallow water for all fitness levels. Exercises are designed to increase your heart rate and strengthen your abdominals, buttocks and thighs. Low impact and medium intensity.
Ballet Sculpt is about taking the elements of graceful, controlled, powerful and strong moves from dance disciplines and combines the skills and self-awareness of pilates and yoga training. No dancing experience necessary! Be prepared to be challenged in a totally refreshing way. Low impact and medium intensity
BODY ATTACK (Les Mills Class)
The sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilisation exercises. Medium/high impact and intensity.
BODY BALANCE (Les Mills Class)
This yoga, Tai Chi and pilates workout builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Non/low impact and low/medium intensity.
BODY PUMP (Les Mills Class)
This is the original barbell class set to awesome music while you are motivated by your instructor to push to your limit! The FASTEST way to tone and condition your body and get in shape! Low impact and medium/high intensity.
A structured three phase class including warm-up, technique and conditioning that uses contact work through boxing gloves and focus pads. These phases aim to improve your fitness, endurance, agility and coordination. Medium/high impact and intensity.
CXWORX (Les Mills Class)
A short, sharp 30-minute CORE STRENGTH workout based on cutting-edge scientific research to get you to the next level of fitness.
THE class to burn the most calories - get results fast with cycling! Low impact and intensity.
LOW IMPACT CARDIO (Pryme Movers)
A great aerobic style class that leaves you with a healthy inner glow. Low impact and medium intensity.
Develop core strength, flexibility and awareness with our mat-based pilates exercises. Non impact and low/medium intensity.
Combining the core strengthening, postural and flexibility benefits of Pilates with high intensity interval training PIIT is the perfect way to get your sweat on whilst toning and strengthening arms, tummy, butt and thighs. Using body weight exercises alongside free weights, resistance bands and balls, this class will challenge all levels of fitness.
A floor-based class aiming to increase your flexibility through deep muscle stretches. You will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Non impact and low intensity.
Tai Chi's slow, gentle and tranquil movements enables harmony, improves mobility, suppleness and mental alertness. Non/low impact and low intensity.
Experience new energy and calmness in mind and body! Our yoga instructors teach in various styles. Find one which style you enjoy most. Non impact and low/medium intensity.
Hatha- Classes include limbering, traditional yoga asanas (postures) guided breathing, quiet pauses to allow the body to refresh. Complete exercise for all muscles, balance for the endocrine glands. The aim is to refresh and replenish and promote health, vitality, and well-being. Through the practice of Hatha yoga an individual attempts to balance the mind and body through meditative breathing that complements the physical movements of the body.
Hatha MIX- hatha mix follows the same principles as hatha, with the addition of some stretch therapy, and a subtle blend of Yin and Somatic yoga
All levels of ability welcome but would appreciate injuries, pregnancies and first timers to report in before the class starts
Yin-Suitable for all levels and ages and a deeply nourishing and nurturing practice. Yin holds Yoga poses and applies moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

Ashtanga based yoga flow- for intermediate to advanced level. Ashtanga is a flow style yoga because of the smooth way that the poses run together. This class will teach you how to develop focus through a traditional Ashtanga yoga methods. The focus goes to the breath, the sight and the posture in itself. It develops strength, flexibility, patience, focus and is a great way to develop awareness towards yourself. Teachers instruct based on the ability of both the class and individuals.
Flow- Meaning to flow though movements and poses.
Iyengar- For intermediate level meaning some yoga experience and a good level of fitness. Each class varies in intensity and focus. Emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). Each pose is followed by a complimentary pose and follows a prescribed sequence according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar (was founder and teacher of Iyengar Yoga).
