Children in the preschool years grow in confidence and ability as they develop their water safety skills
In the preschool program, children become more independent in the water. Parents are gradually transitioned out of the pool and children start to participate on their own.
Learning outcomes include:
Body orientation skills
Personal and water safety skills
Propulsion and submersion
Introduction to stroke development
Which level is my child?
There are three levels in this age group, run two days a week. The levels range from teaching children who have had no experience in the water and are complete beginners, to children who have done some swimming and are confident in freestyle and backstroke. We have a level to suit all abilities in this age group.
Our swim lesson rates are fair and flexible, and are charged fortnightly via direct debit from your bank account or credit card.
Enrolment also includes access to the pool outside of your lesson for your child and one supervising adult.
Aquatic awareness and survival skills are essential for all children. The preschool aquatic program develops water safety skills in a fun environment where children also develop socially and physically.
